Responsibilities: User research, client communication and employee training multimedia. Persona validation and journey mapping. Visual design and setup of "DesignOps" dev collaboration system.

The decking PIPfigurator is a complex product information page with configuration features. This was one of two major ways we presented decking.

The resurfacing calculator's value proposition is research, and the effort continues to make it appealing for successful carting and purchase.

Extensive persona research was undertaken to validate our user. This was a resource from Google ThinkInsights that gave us some idea of where the average DIY user was coming from and what their preferences were. We had several resources, including our own usability testing results to draw from.

Wireframing was undertaking when dealing with the more complicated features. It saved us a great deal of time doing hifi design work.

Painstaking creative efforts were justified only after the research suggested it was worth the time. Here's a few hardware items redesigned in Illustrator for consistency with the Home Depot design standards.

High-fidelity designs were updated per sprint in a "DesignOps" process. Links were added to each story along with the AC to communicating incremental changes to stakeholders, and freeze mockups in Zeplin for our developers.

Within six months of launch, the combined products surpassed our revenue target. Home Depot leadership has lauded the product and is looking forward to a full deck configuration system based on this engine in 2020.
